Students enrol for a full year (34 weeks) and fees are paid termly in advance.

Main Programme

In addition to their lessons, students enrolled in Core and Conservatoire courses benefit from a wealth of performance opportunities and activities throughout the year at no extra cost. Click on the course name for further details.

Core Course - age 6-18 (30 min individual instrumental lesson + 55 min musicianship + 1 ensemble/choir): £50.75 per week

Core Course Prelude - age 6-18 (30 min group instrumental discovery lesson + 55 min musicianship + choir): £41.50 per week

Conservatoire Course - age 6-18 (30 min individual instrumental lesson + 55 min musicianship + 2 ensembles): £59 per week

Advanced students who have passed their Grade 5 theory/Gold 2 can opt out of musicianship:
Core Course Opt Out (30 min individual instrumental lesson + 1 ensemble): £44 per week

Conservatoire Course Opt Out (30 min individual instrumental lesson + 2 ensembles): £50.75 per week

All ensembles and choirs last 55 min except for Senior Orchestra (90 min).

Many events such as workshops, platform or showcase concerts, conferences, awards competitions or community performance opportunities are usually offered at no extra cost.

Foundation Programme

First Steps - age 4 (55 min class): £21 per week

First Steps - age 5 (55 min class): £21 per week

First Steps Prelude - age 5 (55 min class + 30 min group instrumental discovery lesson): £33.50 per week

First Steps Instrument - age 5 (55 min class + 30 min individual instrumental lesson): £44 per week

Ensemble & Musicianship only

If you already play an instrument outside London Youth Conservatoire, come and join our ensembles and musicianship classes. All classes last 55 min except for Senior Orchestra (90 min). From 6 to 18 years.

Jazz groups, orchestras, guitar groups, percussion ensemble, chamber music group: £16 per week

Choir or chamber choir: £11 per week

Musicianship classes: £16 per week

Adults

We offer a number of ensembles and classes for adults.

Adult vocal ensemble (55 min): £11.50 per week

Adult jazz group (55 min): £17 per week

Individual instrumental lesson (30 min): £30 per week

Other

Instrumental lesson extension (30 min): for students under 18 enrolled in one of our courses: £25.50 per week

Second instrument (30 min) : for students under 18 enrolled in one of our courses: £25.50 per week

ABRSM or other external exams: fees depend on level of grades and preparation needed. Contact us for more information.
