LONDON YOUTH CONSERVATOIRE IMPACT PROGRAMME

As a charity we aim to have a positive impact on the lives of others in our community. Our Impact Programme was created to deliver the benefits of music education and the joy of live music in the community.

This programme has three key areas of focus:

• Financial Support: a programme of bursaries, scholarships and financial support

• Overture runs free educational initiatives in local schools. For example, we run instrument workshops and performances in three partnership primary schools in the borough. Over 600 students were able to attend a workshop and enjoyed live music. We plan to extend this programme to other schools in the very near future.

• Community Events takes live music out into the community. We run an active community programme, both with events that we create ourselves and by taking part in community activities. Our Family Concert series is part of this programme alongside active participation with our students in local community events, for example The Fair on the Green, Fulham Palace Christmas Market.
